OUR MISSIONThe Norwalk Film Festival was founded by a grassroots group of filmmakers, community cultural leaders, and movie lovers living and working in Norwalk. The festival celebrates independent filmmaking, and emerging voices with diverse backgrounds. The goal of the volunteer-based NFF committee is to bring local communities together and stimulate conversations generated by the films.
NFF supports the goal of Cultural Equity as a critical component to the long-term viability and growth of the Norwalk artistic community. Our mission is illuminated and magnified through the Festival’s films and filmmakers.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
